What is available
- A free JSON API covering every city on the site, served as static files from a CDN. No key, no account, no quota.
- An OpenAPI 3.1 specification and a Postman collection, for generating a client in your own language.
- An embeddable widget and calendar feeds for mosque and community websites are in progress and not yet available.
Why you might prefer this
The times are calculated at build time and served as static JSON, so responses are fast, cacheable and identical for everyone. Each endpoint states the calculation method and the authority behind it, which matters because a prayer time without its method is ambiguous.
We document the method mapping in full, including where an authority publishes no public specification. If you need a different convention than the one we apply for a country, the method parameters are documented so you can compute it yourself.
